Anna D’Angelo
My career has started at the age of fourteen, attending a professional hairstyling school.
In 1986 with great satisfaction I participated to a Tuscan Championship almost for the game, discovering qualities I still did not know to belong to, which allow me to qualify for second place. We were really so many, I was one of the youngest, it was a beautiful emotion: at that moment I realized that it would become my profession.
I think my work is really “art” because that’s what we are talking about. In the path I had undertaken, I had the opportunity to work in London at the academies of Vidal Sassoon and Jingles, learning all the geometric techniques for the Hair Stylist. At the age of twenty I opened my hair saloon: young and frightened of how to end this dream but determined, I decided to continue working without time and time. Soon the first satisfactions arrived: customers came back and up and made me feel like no haircut any but “hairdresser”.
For the first time I had a job as a trainer and teacher at the ANAM Academy, a “National Accademy”. I decided to further deepen my knowledge by specializing in photographic and television “Tricologia”, “Trucco e Parrucco”, in collaboration with the Lookmaker Academy in Rome. From that point onwards I decided to join in my work more and more frequent television shows that give me the opportunity to give my professionalism to celebrities of the show. In 2013 I got the experience of a reality on “Makeup Artists and Hair Stylists”.
The originality of this event was mainly tied to the fact that everything was on board a cruise ship. The participants’ task was to create a total look from “shoe to hat”. This experience has generated a new dream: creating the look of people, becoming an “Image Consultant”. In 2014 I passed the selections for the most important Academy of Luxury in Milan where I’m currently finishing my studies to get qualifications in “Image Consulting”, “Fashion Styling” and “Personal Shopper”. By September, my know-how will be developed for interested customers. Thanks for the attention and …… “Good Look at Everyone”!
